Standard RDP servers run on CPU graphics. They choke if you try to run BlueStacks, play games, or render video. For these tasks, you need a "GPU VPS" - a server with a dedicated graphics card pass-through.
Vultr is the king of on-demand GPU. You can rent a slice of a powerful NVIDIA A100 or A40 card by the hour. It's expensive for 24/7 use, but perfect for rendering projects or short-term gaming sessions.
Designed specifically for cloud desktops. Their "Core" machines are affordable and come with dedicated Quadro GPUs. The latency is optimized for desktop streaming, making it feel very native.
If you have free credits (see our Free RDP Guide), you can configure instances with Tesla T4 GPUs. It requires some technical knowledge to set up drivers on Windows Server, but the performance is enterprise-grade.
If you want to run BlueStacks or Nox, ensure the provider supports Nested Virtualization along with GPU support. Without nested virtualization, the emulator engine will not start.
